Typhoon Race is an international F3F slope glider competition that has been held in Asia for over 15 years. Typhoon Race started in 2009 among asian countries such as Korea, Hong Kong and has developed into a competition where pilots participate from all over the world. The competition was not held due to Covid-19 for three years from 2020, but the competition continued starting with Typhoon Race 2023 Korea in 2023. Typhoon Race plays an important role in training and expanding the base of Asian F3F events, and is operated as an opportunity for building networks among Asian pilots and expanding exchanges with world F3F pilots.

This year, the organization committee is fully prepared to host the 2025 Typhoonrace in Jeju Island, Korea's largest island and a leading tourist destination. We are working to ensure that the event will be a safe and interactive experience, offering a chance to experience Korean culture.

​타이푼 레이스는 아시아 지역에서 15년 넘게 개최되고 있는 F3F 슬롭 글라이더 국제 경기입니다. 타이픈 레이스는 2009년부터 시작하였으며, 한국, 홍콩, 대만, 싱가폴, 일본 등의 아시아 국가들을 중심으로 전 세계 선수들이 참여하는 대회로 발전하였습니다. 2020년부터 3년간 Covid-19로 대회가 운영되지 못하였으나, 2023년 Typhoon Race 2023 Korea를 시작으로 대회가 지속하게 되었습니다. 타이픈 레이스는 아시아의 F3F 종목의 선수 훈련과 저변 확대를 위해 중요한 역할을 하고 있으며, 아시아 선수들 간의 네트워크 구축, 세계 F3F 선수들과의 교류를 확대하기 위한 장으로 운영하고 있습니다.

올해는 한국을 대표하는 관광지이자, 한국의 가장 큰 섬 제주에서 2025 Typhoonrace를 개최하기 위해 운영진이 만반의 준비를 하고 있으며, 안전한 경기와 더불어 한국의 문화까지 체험할 수 있는 교류의 장이 되도록 준비하고 있습니다.
